Tangy BhelPuri
Bhelpuri is a savory snack, originating from the Indian subcontinent, and is also a type of chaat. It is made of puffed rice, vegetables, green chili and a tangy tamarind sauce. Bhelpuri is a combination of several types of ingredients like chutney, vegetables etc. Bhelpuri has many variation in Indian subcontinent because each region in India
have contributed its own style i.e. Sev puri, Dahi Bhel puri etc. Basically there are two types of bhelpuri that dry bhelpuri and wet bhelpuri (contains different types of chutney, dahi etc.).

Ingridents:
  • 4 cups Puffed Rice (Muri)
  • 2 tablespoon Mint Coriander chutney
  • 2 tablespoon Tamarind Dates chutney
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili chutney (Optional)
  • 1-2 Green Chili (Hari Mirch)
  • 1 large Boiled Potato (Aalo)
  • ½ to ¾ cup Boiled Moong Sprouts (Moong Dal)
  • 1 medium size Tomato (Tamatar)
  • 1 small Onion (Pyaaz)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped Radish (Mooli)
  • ¼ cup finely chopped Cucumber (Khiraa)
  • 1 teaspoon Roasted Cumin powder (bhuna Jeera powder)
  • 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
  • ¼ cup chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya)
  • ¼ or ½ cup Sev
  • ¼ cup Pomegranate Seeds
  • 5 to 6 Papdis (crushed)
  • 2 tablespoon Roasted Peanuts (bhuni Moongfahali)
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice (Nimboo)
  • Black Salt as required
Procedure:
  1. Take Puffed Rice (Muri) in a Kadai or a pan and roast it. Add ½ teaspoon of Turmeric Powder and mix it well. Roast it till it becomes crispy
  2. Now place the Puffed Rice (Muri) in a bowl and allow it to cool.
  3. Now finely chopped all the materials Green Chili (Hari Mirch), Boiled Potato (Aalo), Tomato (Tamatar), Onion (Pyaaz)
  4. After that quickly mix all the ingredients in Puffed Rice except Sev and Coriander leaves. Mix it well.
  5. Finally garnish it with Sev, Pomegranate Seeds and Coriander leaves.
  6. Serve this declious tangy flavour BhelPuri.
